Meet the Team!

We have an amazing team of yoga and tai chi instructors, plus two gifted licensed massage therapists. Read about them below and then get to know them through a class, workshop or a massage.

Sean Gallup, RYT 200, Owner

Sean received his training from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. He first got into yoga to heal a bicycle related injury, but quickly fell in love with the message of loving kindness.

There was a time when he was living completely by ego and telling his body what to do, now he listens to his body for what it needs and enjoys helping people find that within themselves. He encourages everyone to go on a journey to reconnect to their own mind, body and spirit. Once the journey begins there are limitless paths to joy and happiness.


Jill Johnson, E-RYT 200, Therapeutic Yoga Teacher, Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher

Jill is a certified cardiac and cancer yoga therapist and a therapeutic yoga teacher. Along with her husband, Dan, she is also a certified laughter yoga leader and trainer.

Jill has been teaching yoga for over 20 years, and has a line of mind/body resources available for purchase at The Dharma Room. Jill is a very compassionate instructor who brings her joyful nature to every class she teaches.

Roscha Zoet, RYT 500

Roscha started practicing yoga in the mid 80’s and received her first certification under the guidance of her primary teacher, Moonyeen Park in 1987. She has been teaching yoga for 25 years. Roscha was the first to introduce a Yoga Alliance certified teaching training course at the 200 hour level in South Dakota. Roscha’s greatest yoga teacher has, is and will always be “Life,” She continues to practice the inner discovery to her own stillness amongst the daily challenges that life has to offer.
She says, "My passion remains grounded to guide others through the teachings of Vinyasa (Flow) yoga and empower their strength and inner peace. Namaste."

Deborah Lee Lumendal, RYT 200

Deb is returning to the work world after raising children (now safely off to college) and working part time in a family business. She has had a passion for yoga over the past dozen years and now with a 200 Hr. yoga teacher training from Kripalu is looking to take her on-the-mat practice to another level off the mat.

Deb's favorite pose is DebbieAsana (Deviasana), her tarot card reading said she should be a writer, she has a pet rat Louie, and sews and quilts in her spare time. Her current focus is on the niyama Ishvara Pranidhana, which has been particularly difficult when creating yoga playlists for playing on the IPod. Patanjali never had to deal with Apple or ITunes.

Deb is also a licensed Zumba® and Zumba Gold® instructor, and teaches deep and shallow water aerobics. She just can’t get enough of fitness!

Denise Cameron Nelson

Denise is certified in yoga and PiYo. She has been teaching yoga for 3 years and has been practicing yoga for over 14 years. Yoga has been an intricate part of finding calm in a chaotic world. She finds such positive energy when she teaches by connecting with students in such a healthy and spiritually healing way.
Denise has a degree in art and retired after 17 years in the public school system. She is the proud artist behind Funky Woman Art. Denise divides her time between the 3 loves of her life, yoga, art, and family. Her artwork depicts strong women, goddesses and angels. Check out Denise's garden art at the studio!

Kim Kersbergen, T'ai Chi and Qigong Teacher

Kim became interested in the grace and beauty of t'ai chi after she had practiced yoga for almost 15 years. The flow of energy through and around the body promotes healing of both body and mind. She has trained with David-Dorian Ross, an international t'ai chi medal winner, as well as several masters from around the country and world.

Kim has been teaching t'ai chi for about 10 years and knows that she will always have a "beginner mind" as she continues to learn and understand more. She delights in sharing the healing energy that is available in t'ai chi, and Kim attributes her long career in special education (30 years!) to finding the means to reduce stress and renew body and ind with t'ai chi and qigong.

Veronica Ludewig, LMT & Reiki Master

Veronica graduated from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Scottsdale, AZ and specializes in Swedish-Sedona style therapies. Her massage combines her passion for energy balancing with elements of LaStone therapy & Young Living essential oils to create a deeply relaxing & therapeutic massage session.

Dan Johnson, LMT, Life Coach & Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher

Dan is known for his ability to help people achieve total relaxation and healing through massage therapy. As a licensed massage therapist with more than 5 years experience, Dan’s intuitive massage techniques have consistently helped improve the overall health of his clients.

Dan received his Massage Therapy License through the South Dakota School of Massage Therapy. He is also a Certified Life Coach through the Coaching Alliance as well as a Certified Laughter Coach through The Levity Institute’s Certified Laughter Coach Training Program.

Kristi McLaughlin, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher

Kristi grew up with nomadic parents who lived life on the margins of society in multiple states. Having her first child at 18 and continuing through life’s journey with struggles and beauty, love and pain she found herself in seminary earning a Master’s of Divinity. Kristi’s spiritual evolution includes practicing mindfulness mediation and the teachings of non-attachment, compassion and loving kindness. Her strengths are one-on-one conversation assisting others as they learn to hear their own inner wisdom and meditation practices that make room for a more spacious and liberated life.
