On February 6, 2015, I left for a trip to India for several weeks. This trip signifies the completion of a dream to become an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant. I received my certification last month and the knowledge I gain from this trip will be priceless. The big question that is looming is how will I use this knowledge to help my community?
I have talked to many of you about the space south of the Avera McKennan Fitness Center that we planned to move into after closing The Dharma Room on December 31, 2014. After six weeks of planning out the space, the owner of the building was not willing to make all the changes I had asked for, which included a shower, zoned heating, and some other things. So, we aren’t moving into that space and once again everything is up in the air.
I have been given a gift to spend this time away looking at what I truly want my life to look like and then have it manifest as such. I have been given a do-over. I can’t tell you where this will lead me but I would wish for an opportunity like this for everyone who isn’t satisfied with their current path. Stop, evaluate, and decide what you want your life to look like and then make it happen. It really is that simple.
It was an extremely difficult decision to close The Dharma Room but once I did I knew it was the right decision. I don’t know where I'm being led but I'm trying very hard to just listen to my heart. I hope you can understand that.
So until I return from India, I wish you Much Light and Much Love.
