Our mission at the Dharma Room is to provide each and every person the nurturing space and plentiful resources to find their personal dharma...their expression of peace, health, happiness and well-being.


NEW Discover Yoga Series!

Are you intrigued by yoga, but have never tried it?  Are you nervous because you are not sure how to do the postures?  Are you interested in finding out more about the health benefits of yoga, meditation and breathing techniques?  Then this class is for YOU!!

Designed just for the new-to-yoga student or any beginner student who wants to increase their confidence level with yoga, this 4-week session will cover breathing exercises, basic yoga postures and alignment, introduction to the Sun Salutation, basic yoga philosophy and meditation.  Please join us and bring a friend!

NOTE:  Space is limited to the first 20 people so sign up TODAY!!

When:  Thursdays starting July 9th (9, 16, 23, 30)

Time:  7:30-8:30pm

Registration Fee:  $50 for non-members, $45 for members or FREE if referring a new friend!   Non-members can get the $45 member price if they are referred by a current member!

The Dharma Room features a beautiful open studio, complete with natural light, for our yoga classes as well as a fabulous boutique!  We invite you to come and visit and experience the subtle peace and energy of our space.

A study in Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback found that when subjects practiced alternate-nostril breathing (a.k.a. Nadi Shodhana)  for four rounds of 7 1/2 minutes their systolic and diastolic blood pressure dropped one point each--a significant dip from such a simple activity, researchers say.  Learn this balancing and soothing breathing pranayama technique in your next yoga class!
